Unfortunately, this is not the way that anchors work. Anchors serve to keep various maritime vessels from drifting too far from locations in bodies of water. The premise of an anchor is that the massive block of steel will be heavy enough to prevent the currents from moving your vessel, catch something to use as a hold on the sea floor, or both.
So sorry, Mayday Parade, your anchor will not in fact keep your feet on the ground, nor will it facilitate wings to keep your heart in the clouds. Your heart is wrapped up rather tightly in your chest.
